As you know, Simply Controlled has been offering outdoor security solutions for years. Our product range includes outdoor cameras, motion detectors, and perimeter fencing. We recently had the bright idea to add another solution to our inventory; perimeter security lighting is here!
After exploring our options, we have partnered with Cast Perimeter. Cast Perimeter, a 25 year veteran of the low-voltage lighting industry, identified a gap in the outdoor security marketplace and created a product to fill that gap. Their pioneering security lighting system is comprised of low-voltage and fence-mounted fixtures. Here are just a few of the features that make this product the perfect fit for outdoor security in a wide range of applications:

It is the FlashGlare component of the system that takes this solution to the next level. Designed by Cast Perimeter, this technology temporarily impairs an intruder’s vision. When paired with sensors, FlashGlare will immediately initiate when the system detects an intruder. It will turn on and off at 10-second intervals for four complete cycles. This results in feelings of disorientation and decreased vision. This powerful solution negatively affects an intruder’s vision in two different ways.
For the first 5 to 8 minutes after FlashGlare is initiated, the intruder’s vision will be significantly impaired.
It will take an additional 10 to 15 minutes before eyesight returns to normal.
This gives an extra buffer of time for authorities to be contacted and arrive on scene. FlashGlare can be paired with existing perimeter equipment and initiate the flash sequence as an intruder is on approach. Chasing away intruders before any contact is made with the site or other people is a true win from a security standpoint! FlashGlare makes it easy to stop crime before it even happens.
